S P S campus reeling under the shock waves of subsequent ghost attacks...

SPS campus was reeling under the shock waves of subsequent ghost attacks. Sources confirmed non-living entities frequenting  school premises a ta punctually half past one a.m causing panic in the dormetory, thus prompting the in-charge to launch a thorough investigation in and around the campus.

In human nature there is a strange fascination for mystery. Whenever we hear anything strange or weird, the temptation gets stronger in our mind to clean the cob-webs of mystery. But strangely enough most of the time we love to remain in the cocoons of mystery; as if being in mystery is an excitingly enjoyable state than getting out of all mystery and seeing things in the braod day light of knowledge and rationality. This is something like an insensible self-indulgence in the sinful pleasure of mystifying things, objects and phenomenon and willfully casting a perpetual dark shadow over it. May be this very seemingly strange unwillingness to unearth the mystery is the pivotal cause why we deliberately cling to the rumour, spice up the rumour and stretch  rumour to the point of absurdity. Strange are the ways of our thinking. If that time anybody gives us reasonable explanation, we not only get irritated but also blame the person for not taking up matter with due seriousness.This strange inclination to fantasize things tends us to love horror films with bated breath. Intellectually we all may know that all these stuffs are nothing but rubbish but unconsciously and driven by a strange instinct we provoke ourself to believe that such things do exist. Otherwise we could never be abe to enjoy those bone-chilling horror movies like Grudge or Exorcist.

In the past few days a ghost story has been well circulting from mouth to mouth of our SPS students. Though nobody has any first hand rxperience of encountering any sort of ghost, all are eager to prove supernatural existence in their dormetory. When some say that they heard errie voice of a girl singing melody in a muffled voice at midnight, others admit that  they used to see a balck cat coming out from behind the jungle facing window. When such circumsrtantial evidence merely prove to be nothing but childish nonsense, the eye witness given by night patrolling teachers and warden despite their thousand efforts are unable to convince and solace the students. Students are just not ready to accept the truth that there is no such thing like a ghost.

Man power when organized in proper manner and brought to function through a predetermined and pre-calculated strategy, titanic projects that once seemed to be too much to execute, can be easily pulled down on the real ground without much difficulty. However, preplanned strategy may not always click given any unpredictable circumstances that may at any point of time pop up in our way of course. But, still a route map or blue print is necessary in order to guide a team towards the execution of a plan and to give some  definite and concrete shape to that proposed idea.

Next to strategy comes the importance of manpower. It is really a big deal to figure out every discernible or latent skill of every individual human resource. Assigning the right person at the right position at the right time is a demanding task that needs insight and close observation on his natural inclination. Recognizing the true strength of human being and acknowledging that potential with appreciation is the vital responsibility and serious obligation of the management. When any company or organization or institution or any local party undertakes any project, it must take into account this above mentioned points to carry out this project in a hassle free way. This approach to work bears the hallmark of a truly adept and efficient management skill. In a nutshell we can say that when manpower is skillfully manipulated and every physical and intellectual human contribution put together by an emotionally binding collective interest and nurtured within a mutually supportive healthy environment, then huge load of work is accomplished in the most satisfying way. This the abacus of management education.

The recent Fete in our school was a great success only because we were able to organize our class 9 students in a better way. There was mutual interest coupled with a common objective that ensured success for the Fete. So, everybody was eager to give their hand. From kneading the oats to chopping the carrots to frying the sowabines- nothing was a trifle for them as they did their job most happily. Selling the eatables on the makeshift stalls was another challenging task in which they also demonstrated their marketing skill with out-most professionalism to easily pocket a huge profit. Finally with the buzz around the stalls thickening the money register kept on ringing.  Then all out of blue came the final flick of a 75% discount at Haluwa which was a solid master stroke to hook up a good segment of customers who immediately rushed to the stall with watery mouth. 

Finally, I would conclude by saying that each individual has unique capacity which needs to be identified. One may have penchant for cooking while another may have skills at marketing and selling. And the third guy may not have any such discernible quality like the above. But, may be he only has a peculiar skill at  peeling the skins of carrots or potatoes with absolute proportion and measurement. Thus the lesson we learn today is that when skills and talent are integrated and propelled together, achieving success at any project is not a great deal.

When Devil drags your left hand and God pulls the right hand

Study of physics traces two counter -active forces-centrifugal and centripetal. One force is running away from the center and another force dragging things towards the center.In every particle of matter these two forces are working. Even human life seems to have the influence of these two forces. One force is always taking us to the center of our ego when we get selfish and wish to pile up all the material things of the earth around us.Another force is centrifugal which takes us away from the center of our selfish ego and urges us to give up the worldly objects around us. As the human of flesh and blood we are constantly swinging between two forces of good and evil, selfishness and selflessness. The battle of Kurukchhetra is always on in our heart between these two forces. A perfect unification of these contradictory forces is what makes life moving and universe running. A slight imbalance may result in disharmony and anarchy in nature.

Why man on earth are so eager to hug the aliens ? submited by Aditya of class 8

A feeling of wonder and awe use to overpower my mind when I gaze on the starry nights and think about the possibility of another world inhabited by living entities like humans. Last time when I heard about a space venture by unmanned space craft, it enhanced my curiosity. The fact is that scientists have sent a vehicle which is carrying messages recorded in 55 languages, music, sounds of animals and so on.The Voyager spacecraft is now out of solar system and much beyond our range. But scientists always love to hope that a day will come when somebody out there would get in touch with it. Then if they are intelligent being, they must respond to it and it will be a glorious day. But will such a day ever come when a man on earth will embrace an alien with rolling tears and joy ? What a moment  it will be...all the hair of my body stands erect just to think about an union. Lots of Hollywood moves have their themes as aliens attacking humans or out to terminate our race and how valiant humans counter them by their advanced technology and superior intelligence. 'Independence Day' is one such movie. Therefore, who knows that such a discovery will not endanger our survival?

There was a boy named Ravi. He received a Lizard cage on his birthday. He was very happy to have this gift as it was his hobby to catch lots of lizard from the garden. A day later he hunted a beautiful lizard whom he used to feed mosquito. One day he decided to clean the cage so he took out the lizard. But, suddenly the lizard shaking its body and twisting its tail quickly ran away in the jungle. He chased the lizard and he almost caught it. But, unfortunately by mistake he stepped on it and killed the poor creature. From that day he was so sad and lonely and always kept on thinking about the pet. One day in his dream he saw himself as a lizard. In the ancient time Bharat muni rescued a deer. But he always thought about the animal. Even in the time of his death he could not leave the thought of the deer. That's why in his next life Bharat muni was born as a deer. Here, the same thing happened with Ravi who was so possessed and obsessed by the thought of his dead lizard that in his dream he saw himself as a lizard. However, it was a dreadful dream, a nightmare. He was being chased by a big animal. He was running and running. Finally when the animal got very close to him, he woke up with cold perspiration. The next day he realized that every living being need freedom. So, he broke the cage and promised himself that he would never do that same again.

Last night we enjoyed a Masala packed Dehati musical night. The dance floor was rocked by a host of entertaining Desi girls and beauty Avatar. They had Charishmatic appearance and mind blowing performance. Some Gujrati families were also there who hit the floor with their self-styled Disco-Dandiya with the latest tunes of popular Hindi tracks. The night was full of dance, music and Masti vibrated by a sequence of Dilwa-beating item numbers.

However, everything was not very nice. Some Badmash company got a sneaky entry. Pushing the crowed they just approached the dance floor and started their habitual Gaoar-like behavior. When opposed by decent people, they started throwing Dehati Galiya. In the meantime, there arrived Khaki dressed Habildar  who seemed to be a Dabang-type policeman. He grabbed the collar of the miscreant Guru and started Latthi charge. Now they were all Gharaoed by angry Janta who beat them hard and screwed them tight.

When we hear the name of God, many question rises in our mind that who is God, where he lives etc. For many, God is noting but a silly joke as they do not believe what they cannot see. One of my friend once told me a funny rhyme:
                       '' God is deaf
                         God is dumb.
                         If you are God,
                         Don't keep mum
                         Where is God?              
                         Where is God?                    
                       God is nothing but empty pot".


He was such a huge non-believer and atheist. I think that all of us can feel in the heart of our hearts that God is a power that created this universe. And human being is the greatest creation of God. Nature is also the most beautiful creation of God. I feel how nature feels when they are inhumanly destroyed by men. May be one day nature will take her own revenge.It is pathetic to look how greedy humans are plundering Mother nature.The theme of a recent Hollywood film Avatar is a befitting example of the fact that nature can feel and sense like humans and how tenderly and gracefully they can commune with humans.However, this very nature which is so sensitive cannot but be the manifestation of God who is everywhere.

31st Night of 2011 submitted by T. Karunesh

The 31st night of 2011 for all Siddharthians was a very special one. The sun set and the night was a majestic one. Everybody got dressed up very nicely. All gathered in the ground.It was surrounded by curtains and designed by flowers and balloons etc from inside.Everybody was in a delightful mood.The program started. We were given initial information about the happenings of the night. The theme was mostly based on late legendary artist Devanand and Shammi Kapoor. Songs, dance,music were performed by the students. It went on till mid night. In between we were also given essential information about our homeland Jharkhand.Many comedy acts and dramas were presented at every interval of the dance and song sequence. There were also many other types of dances like western, classical and fusion and popular songs picked from poplar films. After the fast half of the program we were called class wise to come on the ground which turned into an open dance floor. Everybody danced in fullest freedom which was termed as wild dance. Some started dancing with their partners while others displayed their solo movement. Some were hip-hopping while other challenging them. This way the whole night passed on. Finally when the clock struck 12 and new year began, everybody was very happy and all wished 'HAPPY NEW YEAR' among themselves. A few sang welcoming new year song when others recited poems. Our respected principal mam was all about to announce the name of the new school vice captain so everybody was very curious.
